A Bethlehem tour guide told the tourist that Mary and Joseph normally would have stayed with relatives in Bethlehem. Because of the circumstances of Mary's pregnancy, they were not welcomed by their own relatives. Surely the lack of a welcome for themselves or their son hurt. Christ was rejected by man before He was even born.His first messages in life were “unwanted” and “unclean” (not worthy or good enough).
