I am sure you all know the saying, “Spring Forward, Fall Back”, and as we move from casual, summer fun and relaxation into the scheduled season of Fall activities it brings to mind the idea of falling back into routine, mundane schedules of life.

First of all, it is not hard to live victorious and “have faith” when all in your life and world are well. But life is rarely all easy sailing. With every trial of life, you have a decision to make.

“By the grace of God I am what I am.” This is not apologetic like we often hear. It is proclamation of worth and acceptance that isn’t based on anything Paul did or didn’t do.

When Christ “appears a second time for salvation, it will be without reference to sin” (Heb 9:28) … because the more excellent work of the blood of Christ has dealt with the sin issue once and for all, for ever! Did you ever wonder why it took the Israelites so long to leave the wilderness? —40 years? Didn’t God lead them out of bondage, part the Red Sea, provide water and manna! Why not believe Him for the Promised Land too? There were two primary reasons. They are usually the same reasons we wander in the wilderness today.
